Earlier this week, the Coalition for Marriage released its first national television advertisement, featuring real Australian mothers saying ‘no’ to radical LGBTIQ sex education in schools and ‘no’ to gay marriage.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has issued his latest warning shot to Australian parents worried about radical LGBTIQ sex and gender education in their children’s schools, labelling the real concerns of Australian mums as “total rubbish” and “not freedom of speech.”

Ms White’s son’s class was told that they could wear the uniform of their choice. This is entirely consistent with the resources made available by the Safe Schools Coalition to schools including Frankston High School. See image below.

The Coalition for Marriage today said it was “staggering” that a photoshopped image of an anti-LGBTI poster was used on a number of Network Ten news programs, which presented as evidence of “hateful” campaigning ahead of the postal plebiscite.

The interception of a package containing white powder and addressed to the Australian Christian Lobby offices is yet another example of the threats to freedom of speech which come with the debate over redefining marriage, the Coalition for Marriage said today.

The vote by aldermen of the Hobart City Council to fly a rainbow flag at its offices in Hobart shows how little they understand the consequences of changing the legal definition of marriage, according to Tasmanian spokesperson for the Coalition for Marriage, Ben Smith.

One of the doctors who wrote a searing critique of the Australian Medical Association’s Position Statement on changing the Marriage Act repeated his call for the AMA to retract the statement following an address by Australian Medical Association (AMA) President Dr Michael Gannon at the National Press Club today.
