"School told my son he could wear a dress next year if he felt like it".
Ms White’s son’s class was told that they could wear the uniform of their choice. This is entirely consistent with the resources made available by the Safe Schools Coalition to schools including Frankston High School. See image below.
“When same-sex marriage passes as law overseas, these types of programs become widespread and compulsory.”
In Canada, where gay marriage is legal, parents have lost the right to choose if their kids are exposed to radical LGBTIQ sex and gender education.
One parent, Steve Tourloukis, went to court after the school board declined his request to give him any notice of when his primary school kids would be taught LGBTIQ sex education, and prevented him from removing his kids from those classes. The court sided with the school board, saying that while the rights of the father had been impinged upon, school “equality” policies trumped parental rights.
In the UK, Vishnitz Girls’ School, a private school for orthodox Jewish girls aged between 3 and 11 years old faces closure because it refuses to teach the girls explicitly about homosexuality and gender reassignment. The school only began failing educational authority ‘equality’ standards after gay marriage was legalised.
Whether through the courts or educational bureaucracies, parents are losing their right to have a say.
